Some Herbalism

This class will introduce people to some of the basics about using plants as medicine. We will learn how to make salves, tinctures, and oils. There will be basic plant identification and sustainable harvesting. This is an enormous topic and we will only be dipping our toes into it. Because of that, participants will learn about different resources to continue studying on their own. Most of our classes will be in Minneapolis, but we could self-organize a field trip or two if people are interested and have cars. Participants will need to provide small jars / bottles for making and storing tinctures, salves, and oils.

I am a graduate of a 9 month herbalism program with Herbalist Lise Wolff and have continued studying herbalism on my own. I have only been studying herbalism for a few years, so I am expecting to learn from this course as well.
