Street Medic First Aid Training

hslocum978's picture

Street Medics have a long history providing emergency first aid at small protests, mass demonstrations, in the wake of natural disasters, and more. We are dedicated to providing free health care, starting with prevention and following through until patients can access definitive care. This 18 hour training will go over basic first aid skills, (such as personal protection, patient assessment, diagnosing illnesses and injuries, splinting, bandaging, etc.)self-care, ethics of first aid, and operating under special circumstances (natural disaster, chemical weapons, "less-than-lethal" weapons, etc.).
