A Co-op Primer: Touring and Talking Around the Twin Cities

Course description: This course will offer an opportunity to interact with the members and staff of several co-ops while exploring the practical philosophical foundation for the operation of modern co-ops. We'll speak with some of those involved with the local cooperative movement in order to gain practical perspectives from different organizations. We plan on visiting the Hub Bike Co-op, a housing co-op and a consumer co-op.

Class Time: 6:30 – 8:30pm

Class Dates: Tuesdays, March 31 – April 21 (start date moved from March 24 to March 31)

Place: Twin Cities (Different place each Tuesday)

Class size: Minimum 6 Maximum 15

What experience do you bring to this class? Holly and Addy co-facilitated an exco class on the philosophy and history of co-ops last year and are building on the tour element of that class--a favorite among participants. Both facilitators are members of Arrowtown Housing Co-op and interested in touring Twin Cities co-ops with you.
