Course description:

This class is the playful exploration of movement combined with art, scent, sound, color, light, emotion, meditation, and energy. Each week we will focus on fusing one or more elements with our movements. We will journal our experiences, impressions and thoughts in each class, so each student has a personal record of their journey.

What experience do you bring to this class? Creativity, enthusiasm, curiosity, love of movement, Poi Spinning, Lomi Lomi massage therapist, energy healer, and boundary expander! I studied with Echo Bodine, Samuel Welsh, and learned Poi from Vatra, a professional fire spinner in San Francisco. Comparatively I have little formal dance training, but a lot of dance experience and past professional gigs.
