Course description:
Leading or facilitating a group doesn't need to be intimidating or difficult. This course will help you develop your own style while giving you a strong, base you can rely on. This is an 8 week course that covers the balance between content and process, how to create safety in groups, the role of creative exercises, communication models, agenda building, intervention and proactive tools, creating empathy and participation. Understanding and honoring diversity.

Class Time: 7PM – 9PM

What experience do you bring to this class?
I have been a facilitator for over thirty years. I have worked with groups all over the world including Kenya, Martinique, Canada and the United States. I have a background in marriage and family counseling, psychotherapy and social work. This course will be using my book on facilitation called Mending the Circle. A Practical Guide to Facilitation.
