Open Poetry Collective
We are looking to start an open creative expression environment (poetry, art, songs, creative writing, etc) We want this to naturally evolve through a consensus of the group. So far ideas are that it would generally just be a once a week gathering for folks to share what they've been working on, free of judgements and free of needing to have what you have to share "be perfect." Maybe once a month there could be a positive criticism feedback if desired of the expressor at the end of a sharing. Generally, the key concept is to have a comfortable place to share.

Facilitator's experience:
I enjoy writing and have used writing a lot for understanding and connecting with what is most important to me. I believe as humans we often don't take care of each other in a nurturing caring non - judgemental yet supportive environment and I would like to have a place for myself and others to feel comfortable expressing an important part of ourselves. This is important for our lives. I also work on songs and tangible. Wes would also like a space for some of the same reasons and works on his own writing, tangible expression, and personal development.
