Saturday, January 30, 2010 - 14:00 - 17:45

Do you wish your digital photos felt more immersive?

With Hugin, an open source panorama stitching software, you can create a picture from the entire visible sphere around you.

We will start in Mears Park and walk around Lowertown in Saint Paul until twilight, then we will go to the Critical Eye studio annex in 262 E. 4th Street to show you how to process your series of photos into seamless surreal photos using free software.

Search Hugin on flickr for just a few examples of what is possible with just a little patience and a lot of battery life:

After we have shown you how, you can always make an appointment for studio time or come to open studio if you lack the creative space or technology to use these lessons on your own. Photo by Jessie zubiran
