Sibley Bike Depot - Bicycle Trailer Building Class (February) - REGISTRATION CLOSED

Build your own bicycle trailer to haul groceries, lumber, just about anything - even a canoe!    
  In this class we will explore building a strong, inexpensive and beautiful bike trailer with just a couple wheels and some otherwise unused wood. There will be an emphasis  on employing “appropriate technology” hand tools such as planes, hand saws, brace and bit, etc. So bring any tools you own to class and we will tune them up and explore their proper and safe use (tools will be provided as well).  We will not be using any welding equipment. Within the four meetings of this class participants will be able to roll home their own new trailer!

Note: Though we will attempt to reclaim as many materials as possible, there will likely be a small materials fee, likely around $15, for the class.
