EXCO: Experimental Community Education of the Twin Cities

En este taller, los niños van a desarollar las habilidades para contar historias, aprender sobre diferentes tipos de títeres, construir sus propios títeres, y participar en una producción bilingüe de títeres.

Los niños van a presentar el mito sobre creación de los Aztecas. Ellos también pueden crear sus propias mini-producciónes con la ayuda de la facilitadora.

Star in a puppet production!!!

In this workshop, childrens will develop storytelling skills, learn about different kinds of puppets, construct their own puppets, and participate in a biligual puppet production.

Children will present an Aztec creation myth through puppets. They will also have the opportunity to create their own mini-productions with coaching from the facilitator.

I have performed puppet shows for a number of community events -- most recently for the February Noche de Paz event in Powderhorn Park. I led a children's puppetry workshop last summer that was funded by a MN Legacy Arts grant. I have a B.A. in English from St. Cloud State University. I wrote a children's book that was published by Bad Medicine Lake Cultural Association. I speak English more or less fluently and can stumble through a bit of Spanish. New and continuing students are welcome to this survey of French culture, including language history, geography, and various nations:French Canada, Caribbean, and contries of Africa.
From the first day you will speak French and later we'll even learn a couple of songs. We'll also learn about "The French Connections" to Minnesota and The Midwest.
